Jamie Blakely conceived it, drives it, and is the single-minded brain behind Australia's much imitated fashion label One Teaspoon. In 2000, Jamie created a 10-piece range that shifted the paradigm of Australian-made fashion. Then, a girl looking for an edge was limited to the expensive one-offs from strip-store boutiques or crude takes on fashion from street and surf companies. She decided to change all that. By 2009, her clothes were being hung in the hippest retail stores around the globe and worn by the hottest Hollywood celebrities. Jamie is an old school designer not an interpreter of whatever she finds in the department stores.
